Posting schedule
- Hanteo daily chart23:50 KST
- Hanteo milestonesWhen a release crosses a sales threshold (minimum 100,000 copies)
- Korean realtime chartsHourly, as soon as each platform updates (07:00–01:00 KST)
- Spotify GlobalWhen the daily Global board updates (~22:00 KST / 13:00 UTC), polled until fresh
- Melon Global K (daily)Around 12:00 KST when Melon publishes the daily board
- Comeback scheduleMonday 10:00 KST — weekly release calendar graphic
- iTunes USTop 10, Top 5, and #1 on songs & albums when the US chart updates (K-pop artists only)
Spotify Global
When Spotify publishes the daily Global chart, we tweet K-pop debuts (first time on the board), new peaks (a better chart-day high than before), then a daily chart digest with a share graphic. Re-entries do not qualify for debut/peak tweets.
- K-pop artists only — matched via our artist catalog or iTunes K-pop genre.
- We consider ranks up to #200 on the Global board.
- Peaks use Spotify’s official chart signals (
peakDate/peakRank) when present; otherwise a climb from the previous day’s rank.
Real-Time All Kill (RAK)
A RAK is when the same song is #1 on Melon, Genie, Bugs, and Flo for the same chart hour.
- RAK is separate from first-week and new-peak rules — any song at #1 on all four platforms qualifies.
- Counts every KST hour at #1 on all four (including 02:00–06:59 when Genie/Bugs hold the 01:00 board). Overnight hours add to the total but do not get a tweet. First-week tweets still skip overnight.
Eligibility for Korean realtime charts
First week (release week)
- Only first-week releases qualify
- If multiple songs from the same artist chart, we post the best performing track: most platforms charted → best rank.
Week 2 and later
- We only post when the song reaches a new peak on any platform.
- Re-entries do not qualify.
